5. Are the costs of vaccines and medications included in the consultation fee?
No. Vaccines and medications are purchased separately at pharmacies.
6. Can I receive all necessary vaccines and medications after my consultation?
Yes. Pharmacies in Portugal offer a range of vaccines and medications against travel-related diseases, such as Altitude Sickness, Cholera, COVID-19, Dengue, Hepatitis A & B, Influenza, Japanese Encephalitis, Jet Lag, Malaria, Meningococcal Meningitis, Rabies, Tick-borne Encephalitis, Traveler's Diarrhea, and Typhoid fever. You can purchase and have these vaccines administered to you on-site at pharmacies with a prescription from our doctors.
Vaccines against Measles, Poliomyelitis, Tetanus, and Yellow Fever specifically are only available at government-run international vaccination centers, available in most large cities in Portugal (see map). You can receive these vaccines at one of these centers with a prescription from our doctors, granted you have a Portuguese health number (“número de utente do SNS”). Our doctors can assist with the necessary steps to apply for this number, though it may not be feasible for last-minute situations.

7. What if I need an International Vaccination Certificate?
Some countries mandate vaccination certificates for diseases like Yellow fever, Poliomyelitis, or Meningococcal meningitis at border controls. The recommended international vaccination center will issue this certificate upon vaccination. If you have a contraindication to vaccination, our doctors will issue a medical certificate for exemption from vaccination directly to you, which is equally valid for border control purposes.
8. What is your cancellation policy?
Appointments are final upon confirmation and payment. You can postpone your appointment for up to a year from the original date or transfer it to another individual for any reason. Refunds are available for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the appointment, subject to a processing fee by Stripe. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment or for no-shows after a 5-minute grace period.
9. What if I need post-appointment assistance?
We offer complimentary email support for non-urgent inquiries following your appointment, with a response goal of one business day up to the applicable legal limits. Please understand that urgent queries or those via phone, social media, or videoconferencing will not be addressed, and you should seek emergent care accordingly.
10. How can I get answers to other questions?
